tive. I do like the "in cabin" car camera now. It did change the racing experience for GT:Prologue quite a bit. Hmmm Author: no_talent, 12/03/2008 This game is not nearly as relevant as it once was.  I loved the series, but after playing 4 of them, there is not much replay value left.  I don't see them having much success unless they come out with a whole new set of tracks and even then it will still be the same old.  I played Forza 2 and it just felt like more of the same even though it was an entirely new game for me.  Oh well.  I wish them well, but I think they'll be lucky to break even on this one. GT5 too long of a wait. Author: voodoo_12, 12/03/2008 Like I said before,..loved GT franchise on PS1 and PS2 but Polyhony took too long for GT5.  The majority of gamers have moved on to other emerging racers (ei...Forza, Grid, Motorstorm, Burnout, etc..), the remaining faithful to GT got taken for their $$ with GT5P.  I have completely lost faith in GT and SONY.  Im sure GT5 will be a really good game, but the Grids, Forza's and Motorstorms of 2009-2010 will be better than this game which will surely come out in 2010.   Gran Turismo Forever Author: franwex, 12/03/2008 That's the connection I'm getting. I've always thought that GT was boring... Author: bshirk, 12/03/2008 I'm more of a fan of arcade racers than sims. o well Author: Ba1dw1n, 12/03/2008 i wont be loosing any sleep over this Take all the time you need Author: YoctoYotta, 12/03/2008 I'd rather have a new pinnacle-of-the-genre GT game made at any cost rather than a half-realized dream. I mean, I want GT5 released three years ago as much as the next guy, but it's not like they're diverting their efforts by working on other stuff or taking breaks . . . I'm willing to stick out my reputation and make a large bet and say this game is going to be mindblowing. If it is not mindblowing, then Polyphany will suffer handsomely from fans and the media. We've been looking at somewhat crippled products like HD and Prologue for a while now, but go back to any of the full releases, and you'll remember how full of an experience those games are. Offroad, drag racing, car tuning . . . accomplishing these plus creating real damage modeling, GOOD online multiplayer, the usually epic car catalog, new tracks, and who knows what else (motorcycles, other vehicle types, new racing modes) . . . it's only encouraging that this product is taking so long. I'll wait until 2012 if its good. 2 years?.... Author: 0rbus, 12/03/2008 didnt they announce this game at least a year before ps3 even came out?  reminds me of the sequel to perfect dark that was announced for the original xbox before it came out, then didnt, then was released for the 360 like 4 years later. some of these companies shouldn't announce a game until, the EARliest, 3 months before release. What kills me is.... Author: MicroGates, 12/03/2008 How long they work on these titles, and yet each one isn't that different than the last! I mean how long does it take to make game where if your going 20mph, your car starts to spin out of control on a turn!?!?!? (Not to menton the recycled tracks they use!) This series has been overrated since day 1. Prologue looks good... Author: etnorb, 12/03/2008 How much better can the game get. I believe they are still working on the PSP version that was supposed to come out a few months to a year after PSP's release so quality assurance is slow but assured. Seems like they want to put every car thats ever been made into the game and its not necessary, just add a few more
